It was Mother's Day and Grandma P's 101 birthday. Yes, 101!!!! Grandma P is the oldest person I've known! To celebrate, the P family decided to have a big gathering at Wang Tcheng Restaurant.



We've been to Wang Tcheng Restaurant a few times. It's a Korean style Chinese restaurant. Just like how I feel about other Korean Chinese restaurant, I think the food is good, but it's soooo expensive comparing to Chinese Chinese restaurant.




Wang Tcheng has a really modern looking bar area. Dr. P and cousins grabbed some beer at the bar before dinner.



P family always have gathering here because they have a nice private banquet room. The room has 4 tables.



Another small room that is also connected to the big banquet room. So if 4 tables is not enough, there's an extra table.


三品冷盤 Three Kinds Cold Dish ($30.75)
Roast beef, jelly fish and shrimp

The banquet dinner started with Three Kinds Cold Dish. Roast beef, jelly fish and shrimp. My favorite was the jelly fish. I think that's also everyone's favorite. It was gone in seconds.


鍋巴湯 Sizzling Rice Soup ($9.95)

I love Korean style sizzling rice soup! There were chicken, fish, and tons of veggies in the soup. And the crunchy rice was so yummy in the soup.


八寶菜 Assorted Seafood ($19.50)

Shrimp, fish, and scallop with veggies. Pretty tasty.


炒飯 Fried Rice ($8.75)

Fried rice was good. By the way, Wang Tcheng has really really good jajangmyun.


蠔菇炒牛肉 Beef with Oyster Mushroom ($11.75)

I like the oyster mushroom more than the beef. The mushroom tasted just as meaty as the meat itself.


螃蟹 Crab

I don't know how much the crab is, but I could imagine it was EXPENSIVE! The crab was made with a slightly spicy sauce. It tasted good, but the crab wasn't very meaty.


素什錦 Mix Vegetables ($9.50)

More yummy vegetables. Mushroom and bamboo shoots were delicious!


干燒蝦 Szechwan Shrimp ($19.50)

Szechwan Shrimp was another dish with tasty sauce. This dish's sauce was more on the sweet side. The kids loved the bird's nest.


珍珠烹炸豬肉 Pork with Pearl Sauce ($11.75)
Green onion, black pepper and jalapeno

Pork with Pearl Sauce was one of Dr. P's favorite dish. The pork had a crunchy outside, and very soft and juicy inside. The pearl sauce was very tasty. I wished I had a bowl of rice to eat it with.


甜品 Yam and Fruit

Love love love love the yam with caramelized sugar!



Grandma P's birthday cake. Happy 101 birthday!!!!



Soft, moist, and yummy cake with fruit.



Dr. P and beautiful Grandma P. Can you believe she's 101 years old? She still looks young and pretty. Happy happy birthday, Grandma P!!
