We haven't been to Sango Sushi for a while. We missed sushi and went to Sango for a quick lunch.


Sushi Combo B ($9.80)
Tuna with cucumber roll, tuna, salmon, shrimp, white fish, albacore, squid, yellowtail and egg

Dr. P ordered his usual Sushi Combo B with spicy tuna roll. It was strange that they put chili sauce on top of the roll to make it spicy this time. But it was still good. Every piece of sushi was fresh and delicious. Dr. P's favorite was yellowtail and salmon.



Miso Soup ($1.50)

Dr. P also ordered a miso soup to go with his sushi. I like how they add tons of scallion to the soup.


Oriental Set ($8.10)
Chicken Breast Teriyaki with choice of Brown Rice or Reg Rice, Poki Salad (tuna, albacore, salmon, tako, shrimp), 1/2 Cal Roll, Shrimp and Veg Tempura, Edamame

I ordered Oriental Set. The item I was most looking forward to after reading the menu was the poki salad. Turned out that poki salad was our least favorite item in this set. The seafood was fresh, but the salad dressing they used was horrible. It tasted like water downed soy sauce. It would be better if they just used simple ponzu sauce for dressing. Everything else was good. Tempura, teriyaki chicken, and California roll were all tasty.

When we want Japanese food fast and cheap around this area, Sango Sushi is our first choice!
