After the horseback riding tour, we went back to the cruise to clean up and have lunch at Versailles.
Seafood Cocktail
We started the meal with seafood cocktail. It had shrimp and imitation crab meat.
Gazpacho
Dr. P got a gazpacho. He liked it. I just don't like gazpacho at all.
Lamb Shank
Dr. P got lamb shank for entree. It looked better than it tasted. The lamb meat was tough, and it had a really strong lamb taste. We didn't like it that much.
Cod Tempura
I got cod tempura, which was pretty much the same dish as the fried grouper we had before. Even had the same fried rice. It was just alright.
Diced Tropical Fruits
Dr. P got fruit for dessert. It was exact the same fruit plate as breakfast.
Chocolate Souffle
I got the chocolate souffle. I didn't really like anything at lunch and was thinking we should've just eat lunch in Mexico. But after tasting the souffle, I was glad we came back to the ship.
The chocolate souffle was fluffy, airy and so good. Dr. P, who does not like chocolate at all, couldn't even stop eating.
After lunch, we got off the ship again to do a little shopping. The port area was full of shops selling your regular tourist souvenirs. I really like the beach and the small town in Mazatlan. We like here much better than Cabo San Lucas. It felt more like the real Mexico. Hopefully we'll have a chance to come back again.
