We took a nap after coming back to the cruise since we woke up at 6am that day. I love traveling on the cruise because you can play, sleep, wake up, walk out of your room and eat (and eat some more).
Mojito ($7.48)
Dr. P was in the mood for mojito. This was a terrible mojito. It tasted like very little lime and mint in club soda water. This was not how mojito should taste like. Yuck!
Vietnamese Summer Roll
Rice paper wrapped vegetables with sweet-chili dipping sauce. The roll wasn't spacial, but the dipping sauce was pretty good.
Cooking Light Sizzling Chicken Fajitas
Chicken fajita was surpringly good. After having the http://www.eileenlikestoeat.commade tortilla in Mazatlan, I didn't like the tortilla at all. But the chicken was very tender. With roasted red peppers, salsa and sour cream, it was really good.
Roasted Tomato Bisque
Tomato soup was good. Much better than the gazpacho at lunch.
Chicken Egg Drop Soup
The chicken egg drop soup tasted Asian, but not exactly authentic. It had fried won ton chips and green onion. It was ok.
Tabbouleh Salad
Parsley, tomatoes, bulgur, onion, mint and lemon made up the tabbouleh salad. This one we didn't care much for. It might seemed like we ordered a lot of appetizers, but the portion was very small. Everything was like 2~3 bite size.
Roasted Prime Rib of Beef
Dr. P got prime rib for entree. This dish was delicious.
Cooking Light Broiled Tilapia
I got tilapia with Thai coconut sauce. I ordered this dish because it came with Jasmine rice. Just gotta have some rice. The coconut sauce was good. But the tilapia had a fishy taste.
Cooking Light Vanilla Caramel Flan
I love flan. But this flan didn't taste like flan. The texture was just not right. It was supposed to be soft and creamy. But this flan was too firm.
Orange Sherbet
Orange sherbet tasted, again, artificial. All the fruit flavor ice cream tasted artificial on the ship for some reason.
We really like the prime rib, but everything wasn't as good as the night before. Oh well, we still got really full though.

I love mojito too!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that it tasted bad.
Yeah, it was the worst mojito I've ever had.
