We found Gaby's Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe from Entertainment Book coupon. Had no idea how's the food at this place. We went because it was close to Dr. P's apartment and for the buy 1 get 1 free coupon. It turned out to be quite a good restaurant.
They have three locations at the westside. We went to the one on Venice Blvd.
Everybody was sitting in the outdoor tent area. So did we. I like sitting at seats with some sun. Well, the bad thing about outdoor seating is that some patrons were smoking.
Bread & Dips
After ordering, the waitress brought us some pita bread and dipping sauce. I still don't know what that dipping sauce is. It's some osrt of oil and sesame seed mixture. Pretty good with tomato and onion on the bread.
Shish Kebab ($10.25)
I got the Beef Shish Kebab. Beef cubes marinated in olive oil and mild seasoning and then char broiled. The beef had really good flavoring and the meat was tender. It was served with garlic sauce, grilled tomato and rice. Also came with salad. Big portion and very good food.
Lemon Chicken ($10.50)
Dr. P got the Lemon Chicken. Skinless chicken breast sauteed in lemon juice and olive oil, topped with a light creamy sauce. I love the sauce. I can eat a whole plate of rice with this sauce. The chicken was tender at most part, but a bit dry at the edge.
Salad
His salad came in a sepearate bowl. The salad had some sort of Greek dressing. The only thing that's missing is some Feta cheese.
Thanks to Entertainment Book, we found this great Mediterranean restaurant. It's a good place to have lunch. They open till 1am so a good place to grab something to eat late at night, too.

EILEEN,
This place is really close to me also. I went there once. Their food isn't too bad.
