We found a new place to get dinner near work. It's a Japanese place called Kuishimbo. They specialized in Japanese char-broil beef and chicken. Coworkers tried it before I did and said the beef was really good. So I gotta try it for myself.
Yakiniku ($7.95)
I got the Yakiniku that my coworkers recommended. It's thin rib-eye steak marinated in special Kushimbo sauce. They give you a lot of beef. I saw them put the beef on the grill to cook after I ordered it. The beef was so flavorful. I heard that if you eat at the restaurant, you also get unlimited rice.
Kuishimbo Salad
Yakiniku also comes with Kuishimbo salad. If ordered seperately, this salad is $1.50. It's a cole slaw salad with the special Kuishimbo dressing. It's a sort of Japanese miso/ginger/thousand island kind of dressing.
This is how I like to eat it. Mix everything together, including the sauce for the meat and the dressing for the salad. Delicious.
Yakisoba with Beef ($6.95)
Coworker had the Yakisoba with beef. I had a few bites and thought it was good. But coworker thought it was a bit too salty. Their red ginger had a really strong soar smell and I didn't like it.
Takoyaki (Octopus Ball) 6 pcs ($3.50)
The Takoyaki was really good. Big octopus balls with big chunks of octopus inside. Yum!
I really like the food from this place. According to my coworker, there's a cute Japanese girl working there, too. And this is a place where you order at the counter and pick up the food yourself so no tip required. So plus 1 more point for that!
