I have a buy 1 breakfast get 1 free coupon from Mimi's Cafe for joining their e-club on their website.  We woke up late on Sunday, and Dr. P was in the mood for brunch.  It was the perfect day to use my coupon.

We arrived around 11am.  There were a lot of people waiting for tables.  We waited for about 30 minutes.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie ($2.99) / Coffee ($2.09) / Orange Juice

All those were Dr. P's drinks.  Iced water, hot coffee, the free orange juice that came with breakfast, and a giant glass of strawberry banana smoothie.  The smoothie was only $2.99, and it was huge and delicious!

Eggs Benedict ($8.99)
Smoked ham and creamy hollandaise.

Dr.  P got his favorite breakfast item, Eggs Benedict.  The smoked ham was thicker than other places, and I like it.  The eggs were cooked perfectly.

Avocado "BLT" Omelette ($8.99)
A three-egg omelette with garlic spinach and crushed tomatoes topped with smoky bacon, sliced tomatoes, jack cheese and avocado.  Served with red skin potatoes and a muffin.

I ordered Avocado "BLT" Omelette.  The omelette was stuffed with spinach, and topped with melted Jack cheese.  Love the red skin potatoes.  If I really want to be picky, then I would say they didn't make my omelette pretty enough.  It was kind of in a deformed shape.

Low-Fat Blueberry Muffin

My omelette also came with a muffin.  I picked Low-Fat Blueberry Muffin.  It was super yummy!

I couldn't finish my omelette and potatoes, so I took the leftover http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com and had it for breakfast the next day, too.  What a great deal!  So hurry to their website, and sign up for your own free breakfast from Mimi's Cafe!

  1. The breakfast there is really good! I tried it using the free meal coupon from the e-club as well. Didn't know they have a low fat version of the muffin. The blueberry muffin we tried was the best we had tasted. They surely know how to do breakfast items. (Tried the "just-enough" dinners, and it was just ok.)

We got a coupon for dinner, and was planning to return to try it.
So it wasn't good? Hmmmm... now maybe we won't try then.

  2. I love their blueberry muffin. I didn't know they have a low-fat version as well, next time I will order that instead.

They only have low fat blueberry muffin on their menu.
So I am assuming all blueberry muffins are low fat?
