I was chatting with Wen one day, and we realized that we haven't gone hiking for a long long time. So Wen found the info on Santiago Truck Trail hike online. The 7-miles hike seemed challenging, but we can do it!
The view from the trail was so beautiful.
But it was so hot, and there was no tree, no shade....
There were two ways to go. Of course we picked the hard way.
Continued going up up and up. It was so dry and hot.
After hiking for 2 hours, we finally saw the flag.
OMG we were finally there! I actually thought about giving up for a few times.
Zoe and Jack found a book by the flat for people to sign.
We could see the lakes at Lake Forest from here.
Some wussy people decided to give up and turned back. On our way back, we saw the note they left us.... haha.... pretty funny!
The hike wasn't too difficult, but the weather was just too hot. I think we should go back to this trail again..... but maybe in the winter?
