I found SoCal Crawfish Connection from one of those daily deal website. I bought a $20 voucher for $10.
We went on a weekend afternoon. The restaurant wasn't busy at this time. Our server (owner?) was really friendly.
"Unattended children will be given espresso and candy!!!" Funny sign... haha.
Dr. P insisted that he wanted to wear his bib backward. It made him feel like a superhero for some reason.
Shrimp (9.99/lb) / Crawfish ($10.99/lb) / CSP Combo ($3.00)
The flavor was completely different from Boiling Crab. We think they use less MSG because we didn't feel as thirsty as other places. We like the sauce a lot. It was spicy, garlicky, and just tasty. Both the shrimp and crawfish were really fresh. We also added the CSP combo, which is corn + sausage + potatoes.
Clams ($9.99/lb)
Clams was really delicious as well.
Gumbo ($4.99)
Love the gumbo. Huge portion.
Cajun Fries ($3.49)
Cajun fries was good, but not too special.
Dr. P likes SoCal Crawfish more than Boiling Crab now. I think the food here tastes less heavy and not as oily as Boiling Crab. It was good to know there are other options when we are in the mood for Cajun crawfish.
This place is close to my place. I've been there once and really like it. The best thing about them is there's no waiting for 2 hours like Boiling Crab. I also bought the same deal coupon but I forgot to use it before it expires...><

So you can still bring the voucher and they will take off $10 from your bill!
