When economy is bad, cheaper restaurants have better business. I stopped by at Oriental Express Cafe to get dinner last week. The line was out the door!
3 Items Combo ($4.60)
For $4.60 (after tax), you can pick any 3 items from the steamed table. Rice, soup, and a milk tea are also included. They used to give out boba tea, but I guess they are trying to cut cost as well, so now it's just milk tea. The portion is enough for me to eat 3 meals! I don't think I can cook all the food for under $5 at http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.
I got a few of my favorite items. Steamed pork with egg, pork chop, and seaweed. The pork chop was a little bland, but the meat was tender. The other two items were great.
I saw a lot of people buying 2 or 3 combos to take http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com. Yes, you can feed the whole family with 2 combos (that's 6 dishes!). It's definitely a great deal!

比較起他對面開的自助餐店, 他們的便當真的還算是便宜和好吃的.

不過最近他們給的菜好像沒那麼大方. 經濟不好還是有差.
我也有發現現在菜給的比較少耶
波霸也變成只有奶茶
不過整體來說還是經濟實惠啦
save $$ & cutting back seems are everyone's goal now. their food is totally a bargain. I went this place twice and it's not that bad at all for a quick bite!

haha. Everyone here's been to Cook Boy's Express as well. Man that place is SAD. I had Oriental Express twice in the last 7 days. The milk tea is tres disgusting... caveat emptor.

I saw a lot of people just asking to substitute the milk tea with an extra soup or rice.
