For our date night Wednesday, Dr. P suggested dinner at Tommy's Sushi. Poke Bowl! Yes yes yes!!!
House Special Seafood Combo ($14.95)
Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura / Bamboo Skewered Scallop, Octopus, White-Meat Fish, Shrimp and Vegetable, Charbroiled / Shrimp Scampi / Sashimi / California Roll / Fruit
As usual, we ordered some sushi & roll, a poki bowl, and a combo to share. This time Dr. P picked House Special Seafood Combo. So much seafood for only $15! Bamboo Skewered Scallop, Octopus, White-Meat Fish, Shrimp and Vegetable was great with rice. I like the sauce a lot. I thought Shrimp Scampi would be shrimp in garlic butter, but it was skewered BBQ Shrimp. It was pretty good We like their tempura because it didn't taste oily. 3 big pieces of salmon, and 3 big pieces of tuna sashimi, as well as 3 pieces California roll.
Miso Soup
The combo came with miso soup and rice also. So much food. We barely finished the food. Their combo meal is really a good deal.
Poki Bowl ($11.00)
Ahhh the Poki Bowl! Tuna, yellowtail, squid, tiny fish eggs, cucumber, onion, and avocado. Love it love it love it!
Salmon Sushi ($3.25) / Sea Urchin Sushi ($5.25) / Albacore Sushi ($3.50) / Yellowtail & Onion Roll ($6.50)
Just like our previous visits, their sushi is always fresh. The uni tasted really sweet last night. I like how they added sliced onion and bonito flakes on the salmon sushi.
We like Tommy's Sushi a lot. And I love the fact that there's a Yogurtland nearby, too. We always stop by at Yogurtland after Tommy's. Sushi and Yogurtland.... it was a perfect date!
