Dr. P had to stay late for work.  So instead of date night, I had to eat by myself.  So sad....  On my drive http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com, I kept on thinking about what should I eat.  We went to Aloha Hawaiian BBQ once before.  The food was pretty good.  As soon as I thought of the restaurant, I started craving for Hawaiian BBQ chicken.  I guess I'll get takeout from Aloha then.


Chicken Combo ($7.19)
A combination of our favorite BBQ chicken and chicken katsu.  A delight for chicken lovers!

Aloha is located in The District on the back of Target.  The little place was packed on a Tuesday night.  Their portion is enormous.  I ordered a Chicken Combo with BBQ chicken and chicken katsu.  The chicken katsu was so crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside.  It wasn't oily at all.  Love it.  Their BBQ chicken is flavorful and tender.  I like eating it with the tangy katsu sauce and sriracha hot sauce.  It came with macaroni salad, lots of cabbage, and rice.



Hawaiian BBQ Mix ($7.69)
BBQ chicken, BBQ beef & kalbi short ribs.

Hawaiian BBQ Mix has BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, and kalbi short ribs.  The kalbi was really good.  BBQ beef is alright.  I like the chicken better.  Seriously, I don't think anybody can finish the entire order.


Spam Musubi (2 pcs) ($3.09)

I couldn't resist and had to get Spam Musubi.  How can you not love spam sushi?



It's just a piece of spam on top of rice and wrapped with a sheet of nori seaweed.  It's simple, and I like it.



This was the leftover after I ate.  I swear that I ate, a lot, too!  I think I got enough food to feed 7 or 8 people.  All that food was only for $19.  If you want good and cheap BBQ, and lots of meat, Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is the place to go!
