I love my mom's braised pork rib!  I think she can open a restaurant just selling pork rib bento!  The braised potato was delicious, too.  There were also sauteed oyster mushroom and sauteed napa cabbage with garlic chili sauce from Wonton Forest.  Also a piece of roasted duck from 99 Ranch Supermarket.

This was Nasi Mantep from Simpang Asia.  Spicy chicken, curry egg, spicy beef jerky, collard green leaves, and rice.  It was pretty good.  But I still think my mom's cooking is way better.

Dumplings from John's Kitchen.  Of course with Wonton Forest's garlic chili sauce.  I really think I'm addicted to the tasty sauce.  I brought 8 dumplings, 4 flavors, 2 each.

Beef and Green Onion Dumpling

Beef and green onion, tasted exactly like beef and green onion.

Chicken Dumpling

Chicken dumpling tasted a bit like fish dumpling.  The filling was really soft.  I like this one a lot.

Pork and Pickled Green Dumpling

Pork and pickled green dumpling was my favorite.  The pickled green is the kind you add to beef noodle soup.  It added a little sourness and crunchy to the dumpling.  Quite yummy.

Pork and Leek Dumpling

Pork and leek dumpling.  It was ok good.

Left over pork chop rice from QQ Cafe.  Yum!  I love their pork chop!  The rice was mixed with braised ground pork.  Double yum!  Noticed the garlic chili sauce?  Yes, I'm definitely addicted.

What did you guys eat for lunch last week?

  2. is it possible to get your mom's secret recipe on that braised pork rib? it sounded so delicious...

She said, "soy sauce, rice wine, green onion, garlic, ginger, water and that's it."
Portion? She doesn't know. She said just go with your feeling haha.
Then braised for 2 or 3 hours until the meat falls off the bone. Yum!
