[Shopping] Nordstrom Rack Finds

I didn't really have plan to shop.  But after happy hour at Elephant Bar, since Nordstrom Rack is right there, might as well go in to take a look.  I had to let Dr. P know that... I didn't plan it, seriously!  Nordstrom Rack just "happens" to be right there.  (*wink wink*)  haha....  I love bargain so I love Nordstrom Rack.  Nordstrom Rack is pretty much the outlet for Nordstrom.  We chatted with the cashier last time we were there.  He told us that they receive new merchandise from Nordstrom EVERYDAY except Sunday and Monday.  Here's a good tip from the cashier:  They receieve the biggest shipment on Saturday and Tuesday.  But Saturday is always crowded.  So the best time to shop at Nordstrom Rack would be Tuesday.  Those were the bargains I got yesterday.


Børn 'Lovely' Flat ($89.95 $29.90)

Aren't those shoes cute?  At first I just thought they were cute.  Then I tried them on.  It was soooooo comfortable with the cushion bed.  Had to get it.  The shoes are still on Nordstrom's website for sale with regular price.  How lucky was I to find this pair, and just my size?!


But.... I now longer have these shoes because my mother stole them from me.  I went to spend the night at my parents' house today and brought the shoes to wear tomorrow.  My mom saw them, tried them on, and now those were hers.  Oh no, she didn't really want it, she said.  But when she told me she didn't want it, she also told me how cute they look, how comfortable they feel, how purple happens to be her favorite color, how the shoes just fit her feet so perfectly, but no, she doesn't want to take them away from me.  So I told her, "Mom, it's ok.  You can have it."  Then she told me she felt really lucky today.  hahahaha....  My mom is too funny.


Juicy Couture Military Cap With Chain Detail ($68.00 $28.97)

I have this old ugly baseball cap that I wear whenever my hair is (1) too messy and I'm too lazy to do anything about it, or (2) too dirty and I'm too lazy to do anything about it, or (3)  too messy AND dirty and I am too lazy to do anything about it.  Now I don't have to wear that ugly cap anymore.  Maybe I should purposely make my hair messy and dirty so I can wear my new cute purple cap.  (This hat happens to be purple, which happens to be my mother's favorite color, and this might very well already be her hat now if I wore it http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com today.  Phew.... good I just washed my hair this morning and didn't have to wear a hat.  haha....)


Make + Model Slipper Boots ($36.00 $9.97)

My feet are always cold.  Even when I wear socks they are still cold.  These slipper boots are so comfy and warm.  I wore them as soon as I got http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.  I almost didn't want to take them off and want to go to bed with them on.


Karen Neuburger Encore Fleece Pajamas ($68.00 $19.97)

The pajamas felt so soft and warm when I touched it.  Couldn't resist.  Gotta buy it.


Børn 'Genevieve' Suede Boots ($136.95 $79.90)

I felt in love with the green boots when I saw them.  I tried them on, and love them even more.  The sale price could be lower in my opinion so I was debating if I should get them or not.  Then Dr. P said, "how about I get them for your birthday?"  (My birthday is in about 2 weeks.)  Awwww....  That was so nice of him.  I just love the color, the look, and how comfy they are.  I love Born shoes.


Spa Sister Chiffon Dream Sponge ($5.99/each $1.97/each)

I grabbed a bath sponge on my way to the cashier because I need a new one.  I got a green one because I guess I was in a "green" mode since I had the green pajamas and green boots in my shopping cart.  So Dr. P said he wanted his own bath sponge, too.  Then he grabbed the hot pink one for himself.  What did I tell you?  Remember he always orders girly drinks and pretend they were for me?

So original price for all the items we got was $410.88.  We paid $172.65.  We saved $238.23!!  Why would I go to Nordstrom when I can go to Nordstrom Rack?
