[Shopping] Golden Birds Wall Decal by Ineke Hans

I love wall decal!  I always liked stickers when I was little.  So obviously I would enjoy putting giant stickers on walls, right?  haha....



I bought this Golden Birds Wall Decal by Ineke Hans from Urban Outfitters a few months ago.  I remember the original price was $125, and it was on sale for only $25.  I found a European website that still have this design for sale for about $100.  I have to say I really got a good bargain.




Inside there were two sheets of dark colored branches, two sheets of light colored branches, and one sheet of golden birds.

I found some other designs on the internet.



What's cool about the decal was you can make the tree anyway you want it.



I decide to put this golden birds decal on the dining room wall.  My idea was to have the tree branches coming from left upper corner across to right lower side.  Then we would feel like we are eating under a tree every time.  haha...



I started with the first sheet of lighter colored branches.  I put up the big branches, and saved the little ones for later.



Then I used a sheet of darker colored branches.  Same as the first sheet, I only used the big branches, but saved the little branches for later.



More lighter colored branches.



Then last sheet of the dark colored branches.



Now I used the smaller branches that I saved to make the two colored branches blend better together.  At this point, the branches were done.  I thought the branches made the wall looked like it was cracked.  haha...



It looked so much better after I put the golden birds on the branches.  So this is how the finished project looked.  What do you think?  Look good?
