Sea Pak Shrimp Scampi

Dr. P had to work late last night.  I want to fix something simple and easy for dinner by myself.

I had a pack of Sea Pak Shrimp Scampi I bought from Costco in my freezer, and a package of pasta in my pantry.  I can't really remember how much the Shrimp Scampi was at Costco.  Maybe $12 for a box enough to feed 8 people?

How the shrimp scampi looked fresh out of the box. 2 lbs of frozen shrimp with frozen sauce around each shrimp.

Dumped the whole package in a pan.  No oil needed.  And just like the package said, sautee for 7 minutes.  I cooked pasta in another pot while the shrimp was cooking.

7 minutes later, the shrimp scampi was done.  It smelt soooo good.  Very buttery and garlicky.

Added the pasta when it was done cooking.

Then I remember I also had some frozen green pea in the freezer.  So I added some to the pan and cooked for another minute.

The shrimp was very flavorful and tasted fresh.  The buttery sauce was good, but I probably gained 2 pounds after eating this.  But it was a very simple and fast dinner.  I packed Dr. P lunch, and still had enough food to eat for 2 more meals by myself.  If you like shrimp, and feel too lazy to cook from scratch, get this Shrimp Scampi at Costco!

This would taste good with fettuccine or spaghetti!
There are two recipes on the back of the box that look good, too.
I want to try those recipes next time I get a box.
