Mom got me that taro pudding cake, but my sister knows that I don't even like taro. But since it was my mom's favorite cake, I always pretend that I kinda like it. I'll eat a little piece, and she'll finish the entire cake by herself. Seriously! The entire cake! So my sister got me more desserts to take http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com.
She went to a new bakery in Temple City called Cloverleaf. She said the cakes over there looked like Japanese style cake.
Chocolate Cupcake/Red Velvet Cupcake/Strawberry Cake/Fruit Tart
She got me 4 cakes. My favorite is the Fruit Tart and Chocolate Cupcake. Strawberry cake had good flavor, but the texture of the cake was a bit dry. Red Velvet Cupcake was good, but I didn't like the cheesecake frosting too much. It was a bit heavy and too sweet for my taste.

We wanted some desserts one day and drove by there, and decided to stop by. I like their desserts, I think I ordered some kind of cheese cake? Their coffee is also really good.

ReplyDeleteMochi & Peanut is my favorite bread...they are not stingy with the mochi inside...is so gooey soft!!
Their Hokaido Milk bread is good too!!
My sister bought me a squid ink garlic bread.
I thought the bread was a bit hard, but the flavor was great.
I am going to stop by this bakery next time I go back to my parents' house to get some bread!
I love tiramisu coffee ! definitely come back soon for more pastries. i had some of their bread it taste yummy...
