Spicy Hot Pot Party

After a hard day of riding, our reward was, of course, some delicious food. The reason that kept me going the whole ride was because I was so looking forward to the spicy hot pot party afterward.



Here it is!  THE spicy hot pot!  Our two chefs, Mr. L and Mr. E did their magic, and we couldn't stop eating!




We did made another pot with a non-spicy side for the weaklings who cannot eat spicy food.



Here were the goodies that went into the hot pot.  I requested intestines, and Wen fulfilled my wish.



Mr. L made the beef tendon the night before.  I love the tendon in the hot pot!  It was so soft and chewy and tasty.



Mr. L also made tripes.  Yum!



Some shrimp balls.



Pork blood cake.



Oyster mushroom.



Chinese cabbage.



Meat.  Lots of meat!



Short rib.



Premium short rib.



Brisket Point.



Beef Finger.  Beef Finger?  Beef Finger!  What is beef finger?



This one was lamb.



Then more beef.

Of course we had boozes.  It's a party, right?



We sure know how to party!  If you drink can beer or bottle beer, it's just a regular party.  But when you drink beer out of a keg, it's THE party!  (Thank you, our lovely keg model Jack.)



Mr. L was busy preparing the food, and Mr. E was busy getting the beer out.



This is the grossest alcohol ever!  It's from China, and has 58% alcohol!  It tasted so nasty.  But some hardcore party people just down it like it was nothing.  Crazy!

What a party!  The spicy hot pot was so delicious!  Dr. P and I thought about it for days afterward.  Can't wait to have another hot pot party again.... in a few days!  haha....  ^^
