After Kula, we stopped by 85°C Bakery Cafe to get some bread for breakfast for the next few days.
Cheese Dog ($1.50)
Cheese Dog was my favorite bread for breakfast.
Pork Sung Bun ($1.10)
I had the Pork Sung Bun for breakfast this morning. It was alright. Nothing too special.
Cherry Pinwheel ($2.00)
We haven't tried the Cherry Pinwheel. But it looks pretty good.
Marble Taro ($1.85)
Marble Taro was my mom and my sister's favorite bread from 85°C. I don't normally like taro, but also thought this bread was good.
Rose Cheese ($2.50)
Rose Cheese is a big size bread. The inside was pink, with cream cheese filling. I couldn't really taste rose fragrance in the bread. The cream cheese filling was a little sour. I don't know. I don't think I like this one too much.
What's your favorite bread from 85°C Bakery Cafe?

Most of their breads that I have tried I really liked. Their black garlic bread (black from squid ink) is pretty good, too. :)
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite thing from 85C is their sea salt iced coffee. Have you tried that one yet? It is SO good! The salty cream on top is a little weird at first, but the more you drink it, the yummier it gets. It's quite addicting! :P
I tried their sea salt coffee. It was pretty good.
After we had it, Dr. P got creative and started thinking of more new "spices" to add to coffee.
He came up with curry, chili, cumin, soy sauce, and kimchi.
Hi Eileen
ReplyDeleteI went to that plaza this weekend too and ate in Kula and to 85C, but saw some bad imprssion in 85C.

I read your blog. Can't believe how dirty those tongs are.
I am going to bring my own tongs when I go shop there next time. haha.
Salt, Sugar and Fat. You add any of those three to any bland food/drink and it will taste a whole lot better.
ReplyDeleteYup, those 3 things always make everything taste better.
But they also make you less healthy.
