I bought dinner for 2 for $45 voucher for Simply Fondue from Travelzoo. 4 course dinner + 2 martini for $45 was a great bargain!

Pomegranate Martini ($12.00) / Espressotini ($12.00)

I enjoyed my Espressotini, but I thought it didn't have enough alcohol in it.

Dr. P takes fondue very seriously. He is ready!

Aged Whiskey Cheddar Cheese Fondue ($9.00)
The finest Cheddar available in the world, made in Tillamook, Oregon and aged a minimum of 9 months and blended with a beer base, a dash of aged whiskey, garlic, and spices, then garnished with crisp bacon pieces and scallions

This cheese fondue was so delicious that we finished the entire thing.... not one drop of cheese left!

Classic Caesar ($9.00)
Crisp romaine, scraped parmesan cheese, and herbal croutons tossed in a creamy Caesar dressing

Gorgonzola Field Greens ($9.00)
Mixed field greens, juicy tomatoes, diced cucumber, California chopped walnuts and herbal croutons tossed in our house raspberry vinaigrette dressing and topped with crumbled gorgonzola cheese

I love this salad!

Fondue Grill
A healthy and lite cooking style grilled in a garlic olive oil right at your table

At first, we picked Fondue Grill to be our cooking style for the main course. But our waitress probably added too much oil to the grill that oil was splashing everywhere. Our table, chair, clothes, even faces got splashed with oil. The garlic smelt really good on the grill. But we had to ask the waitress to take the whole thing away.

Vegetable Bouillon
A flavorful blend of fresh vegetables, garlic, and spices

Then we changed the cooking style to Vegetable Bouillon. I liked the mushroom in the broth and ate them all.

We got to pick 4 choices from small plate menu. We picked beef tenderloin, ahi tuna, scallop, and coconut shrimp. It also came with some vegetables and 2 raviolis.

Dipping Sauces

The food actually didn't have much taste after cooking in the veggie broth. But thanks to those yummy dipping sauces. My favorite was the curry sauce.

Rocky Road Chocolate Fondue ($10.00)
Creamy milk chocolate, rich dark chocolate, marshmallow cream, pecans, and walnuts form this old favorite

I had been waiting for the chocolate fondue all night. But by the time we got to the dessert course, I was already too full to fully enjoy it. Darn! Next time I want to request to have dessert first!

That was a yummy bargain for $45! Will be back if there's another daily deal available!!

  1. Definitely a great deal! My last foudue experience was similar that I felt the food cooked from clear broth was tasteless. Most probably would be full with just the cheese and chocolate fondues.

I like the cheese and chocolate fondue way more than the main course fondue, too!
I wouldn't mind skipping that, either!
