第一天晚上出去吃晚餐前，我們詢問的幾位旅館工作人員有哪些是住在當地的人喜愛的餐廳，每個人的名單上都有Angel's這家餐廳，馬上決定就去這吃晚餐吧！這家餐廳在星期四的晚上完全爆滿，終於等到位子後，我們點了他們有名的烤肋排和烤雞，還點了鮮蝦燉飯和啤酒，餐點的份量大的驚人，早知道點一份兩個人分就夠了，出門在外也沒有冰箱可以帶剩下的回家，所以雖然真的很好吃，但是我們還是浪費了不少吃不下的食物。

Our first night in town, we planned to find a local favorite restaurant for dinner.  We asked a few hotel staffs for their recommendation, and Angel's Restaurant was mentioned by everyone.  Dr. Park also did some research beforehand.  Angel's was also on his list. 



We took the free trolly at The Village.  Had no idea where the restaurant was.  We hopped on the trolly and asked the trolly driver.  He told us it was on the way.  The trolly stop is actually right across the street from the restaurant.  The nice driver even watched us cross the street safely before he drove away.




The restaurant was completely packed on a Thursday night.  We waited about 10 minutes to be seated.  They have a full bar and also served freshly brewed beer.



The restaurant was crowded and lively.  This cozy restaurant seems like a perfect stop after a day of hiking or fishing.


Biscuit with Honey Butter

After ordering, the waitress brought us warm biscuit.  And the sweet honey butter was to die for.  Great starter of the meal.


MBC Pale ($3.75)

Dr. Park ordered a glass of beer.  It tasted sweet and fruity. 


BBQ Combo Dinner ($19.99)

Dr. Park ordered the BBQ Combo Dinner, which was Angel's specialty.  1/4 chicken and 1/2 pork ribs with roasted corn on the cob, coleslaw and cnoice of one side dish.  Dr. Park wanted mash potato, but I insisted on getting the sweet potato fries.  The ribs with spicy BBQ sauce was heavenly.  The meat was so tender and juicy.  The chicken was great, too.  But I just love the ribs.  The corn and cole slaw was great as well.  But the sweet potato fries, oh man, it was so addictive.  I was so full, but just couldn't stop eating it.


Shrimp and Chicken Jambalaya ($10.99)

I ordered the daily special, shrimp and chicken jambalaya.  They gave us so many shrimps, 24 of them!  The jambalaya was pretty spicy.  With tender chicken pieces and smoked sausage, it was deliciou and very filling.  The garlic bread was equally good.



The portion was huge.  Either of us could finish our dishes.  Too bad we didn't have a refrigerator.  We took the leftover back to the hotel.  Dr. Park had some more ribs and shrimps before going to bed.  But we didn't want to risk getting sick from the food leaving out all night, so throw the rest away.  What a waste.  Next time we come here, we'll just order an appetizer and a dish to share.

We love Angel's Restaurant.  Food was great, so was service.  Price was decent and portion was big.  No wonder it's a local favorite restaurant.
