We haven't had beef noodle soup from A&J for quite a while, and Dr. P had the crave for it.
紅油炒手 Spicy Wonton with Hot Red Sauce (Szechuan Style) ($3.95)
I always like the Spicy Wonton with Hot Red Sauce at A&J, but every time we have it, Dr. P always mentions that he doesn't like the sauce. He thought the sauce had a sweet taste, which he didn't like, and which I like. haha...
紅燒各半麵 Spicy Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup (Szechuan Style) ($6.95)
Spicy Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup is always good. Gotta add the pickled veggies for the right taste.
炸醬麵 Noodle w/ Ground Pork, Bean Sprouts, Shredded Cucumber ($6.25)
I ordered Noodle w/ Ground Pork, Bean Sprouts, and Shredded Cucumber. The brown meat sauce was tasty, and the crunch of bean sprout and cucumber added more points to this noodle dish. I enjoyed the noodle, but thought the portion was a bit small.
Simple, cheap, and good Chinese noodle place. We like A&J.

A&J is so consistent! The beef noodle bowl is the same as the Arcadia Location has but in white.

We used to go to the San Gabriel one on Valley all the time way back in the days.
