Back to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Chong Qing Mei Wei, for our monthly visit.


風味冷菜 Cold Appetizer ($5.50)

As usual, we started with the three items Cold Appetizer.  We picked spicy pork, spicy kidney, and green veggie with edamame.  Portion was a bit smaller this time.  We noticed that by asking different waiters, we usually get different portion.  Gotta make sure we ask our favorite waiter next time to get the largest portion.  haha....



酸辣湯 Spicy and Sour Soup ($6.99)

Ever since we had Spicy and Sour Soup last time, we got hooked.  Now we have to get it every time.  Their Spicy and Sour Soup was really really good.  Portion was huge.  We took http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com two large containers of leftover soup.


酸辣包心菜 Sauteed Cabbage with Spicy Vinegar Sauce ($6.99)

We had Sauteed Cabbage with Spicy Vinegar Sauce before and liked the dish.  But this time we thought they probably added a bit too much vinegar.  It was pretty sour so Dr. P didn't like it.  I didn't mind it too much though.  No wonder Chinese people say "women like to eat vinegar".  haha....


水煮牛魚 Boiled Beef and Fish with Hot Sauce ($10.99)

Boiled Beef and Fish with Hot Sauce is their best dish.  We get it every time, and we are happy every time.


家常豆腐 Homestyle Fried Tofu w/ Pork ($6.99)

At first we didn't think Homestyle Fried Tofu w/ Pork was good.  We ate the fried tofu by itself and thought it was just alright.  But then we ate the tofu with a piece of thin sliced pork belly, some garlic and leek.  Wow!  What a big difference when you eat everything together!  It became so tasty.



Always delicious.  Love this restaurant!
