I went to Huntington Beach to see an eye doctor and get new glasses.  As I was leaving the doctor's office, I saw Five Guys Burgers and Fries across the street.  Five Guys Burgers?  I heard about that place.  Isn't that the famous hamburger place that Obama likes?  Gotta stop by and try it then.



It was around 1pm, and they were super busy.  The line was long, but it moved fairly fast.




They have peanut bags everywhere.  Many people started eating peanuts while waiting for their orders.  I followed.



They were busy, but plenty of seats inside and outside because a lot people were getting take-out.  They don't have a drive thru, but they should.


Little Cheeseburger ($4.29)
Mayo, Ketchup, Lettuce, A.1. Steak Sauce, Tomatoes, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushrooms

I ordered a Little Cheeseburger.  Their regular burger has two patties, and Little burger only has one.  Their burger is a bit more pricey than In-N-Out.  But you can add any toppings and sauces for free.  So I figure they already added the cost for the extras in the price.



I ordered my customize cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, lettuce, A.1 steak sauce, tomato, grilled onion, and grilled mushroom.  Grill mushroom!  Yum!!  The hamburger bun wasn't toasted like the one from In-N-Out.  It was very soft.  The grilled beef patty was very tasty.  Love the crisp fresh lettuce.  I enjoyed the addition of A.1 steak sauce a lot.  This was one super tasty burger.  I wasn't that hungry, but finished it in probably 5 minutes because it was soooooo good.


Cajun Fries ($2.79)

This was only half of the Cajun Fries.  The rest were in the paper bag because they didn't fit in the cup.  This was the most delicious fries.  They were so soft in the center.  The Cajun seasoning was addicting.  Loved it!

I really enjoyed my cheeseburger and the fries.  A lot of people compares Five Guys and In-N-Out.  In my opinion, they are totally different, and it's hard to compare them.  I like both a lot.  I hope there will be more Five Guys opening in our area soon.
