One of my new year resolutions is to save money. One way to do so is not to waste food. I try to use up food in the fridge and made this kimchi rice cake soup yesterday.
Kimchi Rice Cake Soup
Rice cake + kimchi + tofu + chicken broth + egg. Very easy to make.
And I found out this morning that rice cake soup is not good for leftover. The rice cake was soggy and tasted pretty gross. Dr. P told me that I was supposed to take out the rice cake from the soup and store in separate container (his Korean family does so). Hmmm... I won't make the same mistake next time.
