Like every Thanksgiving, we went to Mrs. Park's house for Thanksgiving dinner. In previous years, most of the food were store bought. But this year, Mrs. Park and the aunties cooked EVERYTHING!
Cheese & Cracker
Before dinner, we had some Cheese and Cracker with wine.
Salad
Love the fruit salad. There were blueberry and persimmon in the salad. Yum yum yum!
Potato Salad
Mrs. Park's friend gives her this potato salad every year for the holiday.
Turkey
I didn't get a picture of the whole turkey. I helped carved the turkey. Obviously I don't know how to do it right. Instead of slices of turkey, it became shredded turkey. Oopsy!
Stuffing
The stuffing had a mushroom flavor because Mrs. Park added shitake mushroom to it. Delish!
Tempura Shrimp
Dr. P's brother's girlfriend Lucy brought the tempura shrimp. She said those are from Trader Joe's.
Green Beans
One of the aunties made the green bean. It was just sauteed with salt and pepper. And it was the most delicious green beans. I munched on those beans all night long and finished all of the leftover beans.
Corn
Very simple steamed corn, and very yummy.
Sweet Potatoes & Yam
How I love sweet potatoes and yam!
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Lucy also brought a pumpkin cheesecake. She ordered the cake form a catalog. We all love the cheesecake.
A whole plateful of yumminess!
Lucy brought her yorkie, Sophie. She's a little princess. Super cute!
She loves food! While Mrs. Park was busy cooking in the kitchen, Sophie just hung out and watched the "food" for the whole time.
I want to take Sophie http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com!
Too bad our apartment does not allow dogs, or I'll totally steal Sophie http://www.eileenlikestoeat.com with me. haha....
I know it's a little late. So instead of saying Happy Thanksgiving, HAPPY HOLIDAY!
