Yup!  Back to Chong Qing Mei Wei Szechwan Restaurant again to serve our spicy Chinese food craving.


風味冷菜 Cold Appetizer ($5.50)

We ordered smoked chicken, spicy pig kidney, and shredded potatoes for our cold appetizer combo.  All three items were really good.  I really like the not fully cooked potatoes because it tasted crunchy.



紅燒肥腸 Pig Intestine with Brown Sauce ($10.99)

Since intestine is my favorite food, I wanted to try every intestine dish on their menu.  Pig Intestine with Brown Sauce wasn't exactly what I was expecting.  It didn't come  in the traditional "brown sauce".  It was more like a red spicy sauce.  The intestine was chewy and soft.  They paired the intestine with crunchy bamboo shoot.  We like it.  For the left over, I cooked some white noodle (陽春麵) and just mixed the noodle with everything.  It was so yummy that way.


水煮牛魚 Boiled Beef and Fish with Hot Sauce ($10.99)

Dr. P's favorite, Boiled Beef and Fish with Hot Sauce.  This dish is always good.  This time, the dish was still good, but it tasted different.  It wasn't as spicy, and it seemed like something was missing.



Comparing to the picture from our last visit, the forgot to add the red chili flakes this time?  But we still love the dish though.

Yum yum yum yum!  Spicy Chinese food is yummy!
