Day 6 and 7 were spend on the sea. We slept in till almost noon on day 6 and headed to Versailles for lunch.
We were seated at a table near window. But it was a gloomy day with no sun.
Mexican Crab Dip with Corn Tortillas
Got the Mexican crab dip as one of the appetizers. First of all, I didn't know what was so "Mexican" about this dip. This tasted like ranch to me. Second, there was no crab at all. Maybe a few pieces of those imitation fake crab. It came with like 5 pieces of tortillas. So we had A LOT of dip leftover. This was just a really weird dish. Didn't like it at all.
Fried Chicken Strips
The fried chicken strips is much better. The chicken was really tender. The orange-horseradish dip was pretty good.
Cooking Light Savory Beet Soup
The beet soup was pretty good. Creamy and healthy.
Cooking Light Herb Grilled Salmon
I got the herb grilled salmon as the entree. It looked boring, but actually it was pretty good. The mashed potatoes with leeks and mango salsa definitely added some points.
Fusili Pasta and Pulled BBQ Pork
Dr. P got the pulled BBQ pork pasta. I didn't like it. But Dr. P thought it was alright.
Octopus, Mussels and Monkfish Salad
We got a seafood salad to sahre. The seafood didn't taste that fresh. I think they were just trying to finish all the leftover seafood from previous dinners.
Mississippi Pecan Pie
The pecan pie was better than the food, I thought. I like the caramel ice cream as well.
Cooking Light Macerated Berries
Dr. P enjoyed his berries dessert. I liked this one because it had tons of strawberry in it.
We thought the food has gotten worse and worse as the days go by. I started missing the food we had in Mexico.
