There weren't any two-people table available when we went to dinner. We didn't really feel like waiting and opted to share table other other guests. We met some new friends and had really interesting conversation over dinner.
Seafood Ceviche - Los Cabos
I can't really remember what kind of seafood was in the ceviche. It was soaked in a tomato broth that tasted like gazpacho, which I didn't like. So I didn't really eat this dish.
Spinach and Onion Turn-over
This was more like the dish I like. The pastry was good. I especially like the Emmental cheese sauce.
Cooking Light Curried Butternut Squash Soup
Curried butternut squash soup was delicious.
Crab Hot and Sour Soup
The lukewarm crab hot and sour soup wasn't that good. The crab was "fake" crab. Even the hot and sour tasted like "fake" hot and sour.
Nicoise Salad
Tuna, black olives, green beans and herb vinaigrette. Dr. P liked this salad.
Mustard-herb Crusted Roast Rack of Lamb
The roast rack of lamb was so delicious. Just as good as the one we had at Le Bistro. The lentil salad and lyonnaise potatoes was great as well.
Surf and More Surf
Everyone else on our table got the seafood pasta. It had lobster tail, shrimp, mussels, scallops, fillet of snapper, tossed on a bed of linguini. I like the lobster tail, but this dish actually wasn't good at all. It lacked flavor. It was really bland and the variety of seafood couldn't even make this dish interesting.
Flourless Molten Chocolate Cake
A lady at our table thought the flourless molten chocolate cake was devine. But I didnt' like it at all. It was way too sweet and rich for my taste.
Fruit Trifle
Layers of vanilla cream and fruits. This dessert was lighter and much better.
We were so tired from 3 days of playing. We would be spending the next 2 days on sea. We went to bed early and had a really good night sleep.
