El Flamin' Taco
5th and Vermont
Los Angeles, CA 90020
This taco truck used to be at the corner of 3rd and Vermont. I first noticed it because it had bright LCD sign with Korean and English running. Now they moved to a better spot on 5th and Vermont inside a carwash parking lot, and it's within walking distance from my work.
Lengua Taco ($1.25/each)
I went the Walgreens on Vermont to buy something. Afterward, I remember this flashy taco truck right next door and walked over to grab dinner. I got 2 lengua taco. The taco was filled with tender lengua. And I love their http://www.eileenlikestoeat.commade tortilla.
Of course you can't eat the taco plain like that. There is a little salsa bar with tons of fresh veggies and a few different kinds of salsa. I got some cucumber, onion, tomato, cilantro and jalapeno for my taco. Then I picked the green salsa because I thought it didn't look that spicy. But I thought wrong, way wrong. This was the spiciest salsa I've ever had. I wasn't expecting it and took a big bite, too. OMG! The heat made me jumped up from my seat!
I really like this taco truck. The people there are really nice and friendly. I don't know how late they open till, but I've seen them there after 2am. Next time I want to try their burrito.

There are plenty of taco trucks in my area but I've never gone. Why? No idea.
ReplyDeletehaha.... I don't really go to taco truck that much, either.
But I REALLY REALLY want to try that Korean taco truck Kogi.
我不敢吃美國路邊的東西耶, 不知道為什麼. 可是每次看到又好想試試看.
ReplyDelete如果你敢吃台灣路邊的東西
那怎麼會不敢吃美國路邊的東西呢?呵呵
