Ever since our first visit to Siamese Express, we've been back a few times for takeout food. Their food is authentic and seriously good. Dr. P did the ordering that night.


Tom Yum Chicken Soup ($8.25)

Tom Yum Chicken Soup was quite spicy. I think majority of their clientele are non-Asians, but they don't tone down the strong Thai flavor a bit. There were a lot of chicken and button mushroom in the soup.

We felt like having Thai food for dinner. We used to like Thai Bite. But ever since we had a not so satisfying lunch there, we never had the desire to go back again. A quick search on Yelp, we found Siamese Express.



Siamese Express is more of a take out place, although they do have a few tables inside, and a nice looking patio. We opted to dine there, while almost everybody else came in for take-out. This place is run by a Thai couple. The husband works behind the counter, and the wife is the cook.

這家泰國餐廳位在好萊塢大道跟La Brea路口附近，外面看起來不是很起眼，但是經過的時候可是會聞到陣陣香味呢！一進到餐廳裡面才發現佈置很漂亮呢！還有一小區戶外用餐區。


菠蘿咖哩雞 Pineapple Paradise with Chicken (US$7.95)

這天我是在附近工作才來這買午餐，因為時間很趕，所以只能外帶。我點的是菠蘿咖哩雞，附送白飯一大碗，這咖哩好像是紅咖哩，不會辣，倒是有點甜，不知道是不是鳳梨的甜味，我超愛鳳梨跟咖哩的組合，吃起來甜甜鹹鹹的，超好吃，雞肉蠻嫰的，狠下飯。
