[Costa Mesa] [Peruvian] Inka Grill

Inka Grill

Costa Mesa, CA 92627

We came to Inka Grill with $10 for $20 voucher in hand, and got a rotisserie chicken meal for to do.

Whole Chicken ($15.50)

The whole rotesseire chicken was very very flavorful. The meaty part like thigh and breast was very tasty. But the wings and leg was overcooked and too dry to eat.

[Aliso Viejo] [Peruvian] Inka Mama’s

My aunt and cousin came to visit from San Jose. They came down to South OC with my parents to visit us since they've never been to our house before. I decided to take them to Inka Mama's for lunch because none of them had Peruvian food before.

Salad

We ordered 5 lunch special entrees to share. Each entree came with soup or salad. We got 4 of their famous cilantro soup and 1 salad. I forgot to take picture of the soup, but you can see one from last time. Everyone thought the soup was really good. We were glad we only got one salad because it was pretty bad. The vegetable itself was alright. It was the salad dressing that made it bad. The salad dressing was way way way too sour. Seemed like they added too much red wine vinegar. It was so sour that we all took one bite, and nobody touched it again.

We had takeout from Inka Mama's before. We thought the food was great, but the portion was small and price was a bit higher comparing to Mario's. My friend Wen came to visit on a Friday. We drove over to Aliso Viejo Town Center to find a lunch spot. Since Wen had never tried Peruvian food before, we picked Inka Mama's as our lunch spot.

They have lunch special from Monday through Friday between 11am to 3pm. Chicken dishes are $7.45, beef dishes are $8.45, and seafood dishes are $9.45. All lunch special comes with soup or salad.

[Los Angeles] [Peruvian] Mario's Peruvian & Seafood

Mario's Peruvian & Seafood
5786 Melrose Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90038
(323) 466-4181

公園媽媽家離這家餐廳很近,所以常常來這裡買外賣,而且買來買去好像都是一樣的菜色,秘魯菜味道真的很像西班牙+中國料理的混合體,不錯吃。

Mario's Peruvian restaurant is really close to Dr. Park's mom's house.  Whenever they can't figure out what to eat for dinner, his brother would go to Mario's for take out.  When they go to Mario's, they always order the same dishes.  I asked Dr. Park why don't they try some new dishes.  He said "if you already know what's good, why not stick with it?"

Ceviche De Pescado ($12.00)

Raw fish cooked in lemon juice, with onions and spices and served with boiled potatoes.  The fish is fresh and the limey sauce is tasty.  Great appetizer.
