I bought a Groupon for Simply Fondue.  The deal was $45 for a four-course fondue feast for 2 people (a $98 value).  The only other time I had fondue was at Melting Pot in Pasadena.  I remember the food was pretty good, but it was expensive to a point that I didn't think it was worth the price.



Ever since that time, we never really thought of having fondue again.  Well, we prefer Asian style hot pot or shabu shabu more than American style fondue.  But $45 for two people sounds like a bargain.  So we went to try fondue again.

聽說Melting Pot這家餐廳很久了，一直很想來試試，前天去完動物園後，就跟公園先生一起來嚐嚐這家新餐廳。這是一家fondue的餐廳，fondue是從歐洲來的，基本上跟我們的涮涮鍋有點像，都是一樣的idea，大家繼續讀下去看看照片，就知道fondue到底是什麼東西了。

這家餐廳的生意非常好，我們差不多五點鐘到的，就已經有很多人來了，在吧台區也坐了不少人，但是在吧台區只能吃前菜起司鍋或是甜點巧克力鍋，不能吃主菜。等了一下子後，帶位人員帶我們走過像迷宮一樣的很多走廊，來到四人座的沙發座位，這裡的座位都算是很私人的，沙發背非常高，完全看不到別的桌子，而且燈光昏黃，是感覺很浪漫的餐廳。


海陸大餐 Fondue Fusion (US$92/couple)

因為是第一次來，服務生建議我們直接點個兩人份的Big Night Out套餐，包括有前菜起司鍋、沙拉、主菜和甜點巧克力鍋，主菜有三種選擇，肉類、海鮮類、或是海陸類，我們選了有肉有海鮮的海陸大餐(Fondue Fusion)，價錢是US$92.00兩人份，蠻貴的，想必一定很豐盛，我們看著桌子上的空鍋，開始非常期待這頓大餐。
