At the end of every year, I will exchange the points I accumulated from credit cards into gift cards.  And those gift cards are usually restaurant gift cards because, yup you know it, I like to EAT!  haha....  I have a $50 gift card from Cheesecake Factory, and sister felt like some yummy cheesecake.  So we headed to Arcadia mall for dinner & cheesecake.


Bread

I always like Cheesecake Factory's bread, and always ended up eating too much of it.  By the way, why is Cheesecake Factory always so dark?  I thought it was supposed to be a family friendly type of restaurant.  But they make it so dark in there that we couldn't even see the food that well.  Are they trying to make Cheesecake Factory into a romantic type of restaurant?



Carlton Salad ($11.95)
Romaine Lettuce, Grilled Chicken, Feta Cheese, Avocado, Organic Dried Cranberries, Pears, Fresh Orange and Pecans Tossed with Vinaigrette

We got Carlton Salad to share.  I like all the individual ingredients in the salad, but somehow the combination just didn't work for me.  Something about it just didn't go right together.  We also thought the vinaigrette tasted like Chinese chicken salad dressing.  It was an alright salad.  Their tossed salad is much tastier.


Double Cheese Crunch Burger ($10.95)
American and Cheddar Cheese, Crunchy Potato Crisps, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onions, Pickles and Secret Sauce

Sister ordered Double Cheese Crunch Burger.  This was one good burger.  The beef patty was so soft and moist.  The potato crisps was really crunchy, and added great texture to the burger.  But it was a little salty though.  For side, my sister picked salad instead of French fries.  The veggies were all very fresh.


Shrimp Franchese ($14.95)
Shrimp, Artichokes, Tomatoes, Peas, Shallots, Garlic and Parmesan Cheese Sauteed with White Wine and Herbs. Served with Pasta

I ordered Shrimp Franchese.  This tasted exactly like their Bistro Shrimp pasta.  The shrimp was huge and sooooo good!  I know the sauce was fat, but it was so buttery and yummy that I couldn't stop eating.


30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake ($7.50)
Layers of Our Original Cheesecake, Fudge Cake and Chocolate Truffle Cream

Gotta have cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory!  We got the 30th Anniversary Chocolate Cake Cheesecake.  What else can I say besides YUM?  It was very very very very good.



Perfect total to use our $50 gift card!  I like Cheesecake Factory!!
